Baked Chicken Recipes
Baked chickens are one of the most popular and delicious dishes you can cook at home for your family and best of all, they are very easy to prepare.
Ingredients:
- 4 lb chicken (breasts, thighs, legs or wings)
- 1/2 cup of chicken stock
- Olive oil
- Salt and ground pepper
Instructions:
First of all, you want to preheat your oven to 400°F. While the oven is heating up, rinse the chicken pieces in water and dry them up using paper towels. With some olive oil, rub over all the chicken pieces as well as the bottom of your roasting pan. Make sure that you sprinkle some salt and black pepper over the chicken pieces.
At 400°F, bake the chicken for approximately 30 minutes then lower the heat to 350°F and cook for another 20 minutes. The best way to tell if the chicken pieces are cook is to poke them with a sharp knife notice that the juices are clear and not pink. Alternatively, you can use a thermometer to check and see if the temperature of the chicken breasts is 170°F. When the chicken pieces are cooked, remove them from the roasting pan and tent them with aluminium foil for about 10 minutes.
